Background of the Event

The main goal of the joint event in Kiev National University of Construction and Architecture is the introduction of new knowledge from the field of photogrammetry and remote sensing for civil engineers and architects. The event is supposed to be attended by experts from the field of construction, architecture, land management, geodesy, photogrammetry, geospatial data, and ecology. O rganizers believe that the maximum effect will be achieved through the unification of various scientific communities, which will not only give new knowledge, but also develop new universal teaching methods.

THEMES OF EVENT

Innovative techniques and technologies in photogrammetry and remote sensing for architecture, urban planning and civil engineering.

Innovative educational modules on photogrammetry and remote sensing for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree curricula in civil engineering and architecture

Development of educational programs on applying photogrammetry, remote sensing and GIS for solving problems of urban-planning and land management

Teaching innovative photogrammetry and remote sensing technologies for getting learning skills in the assessment of environmental impact of construction

Application of 3D data acquisition and processing techniques for building construction and monitoring

Classification and analysis of construction materials on the basis of multi-source and multi-spectral data

Development and evaluation of new methods and algorithms of laser intensity-based classification, segmentation, and surface characterization

Integration of point clouds in BIM/GIS environments
